Enrolment & Refunds
  1. The course fee is valid only for the persons and dates specified on the enrolment form.
  2. Fees are not transferable to another student.
  3. Refunds will be paid in 28 working days from the date of all original documents being presented to the college.
  4. Refunds will only be made in the name of the student. If a student instructs someone on their behalf, an authorisation letter will be required.
  5. Fees paid for examinations or registration to external awarding bodies will not be refunded.
  6. Once fees are paid, they are non-refundable except in the event of the visa application being refused. The college needs to be informed at least two weeks in advance of the course start date.
  7. Fees are non refundable if a student is refused entry or leave to remain in the UK due to lack of funds, providing false information to UKBA during visa application, working without a permit or withdrawal of the visa application.
  8. The refundable course fee is subject to a £200 administration deduction as well as an apportioned deduction for the duration of the course completed.
  9. If the student enrolled through an agent, the refundable course fee will also be subject to a deduction for agent commission.
  10. The applicant must provide all the original documententation i.e. UKBA refusal letter, receipts, enrolment letter, etc. together with the refund application form, in order for refunds to be processed .
  11. Any changes in circumstances must be notified at least 2 weeks before the course start date, otherwise refunds will not be processed.
  12. The college witholds the right to withdraw sponsorship from any students for legitimate reasons. This might include the following: no show, non-attendance, low attendance, outstanding fees, indiscipline, etc.
  13. Where the college withraws sponsorship, for legitimate reasons, all fees paid are non-refundable.
 
College, Classes & Holidays
  1. Classes run Monday to Friday ( 9:00am to 12:30pm or 1:30pm to 5:00pm). Students must attend 5 classes per week. 
  2. Students are entitled to a free placement test and an oral interview as well as a consultation with the teacher before the beginning of their studies.
  3. Books are free for English students except for a £10 deposit which is refundable on reurn provided the book is in good order. This book can also be swapped in definitely at no extra cost.
  4. Students will be provided with photocopies of supplementary study materials in class free of charge.
  5. Students are entitled to use the Internet & Computer lab for free.
  6. If a teacher is absent from school for a valid reason, the school will provide a substitute teacher. The school reserves the right to combine or cancel classes if necessary (e.g. if a teacher falls ill and the substitute teacher is not available on that day, etc.) and close classes if class numbers fall..
  7. When necessary, the College reserves the right to alter the timetable and/or transfer students from one class or course to another.
  8. There is no reduction in fees where your period of study includes a public holiday, nor are there any reductions if you arrive late for your chosen course.
  9. English Class sizes are restricted to 16 students and the minimum enrolment age is 18 and above.
  10. English student's progress is carefully monitored through the course and students take a final test at the end of each 3 months term. Students who pass this exam will progress to the next level. There will be no fee for exams.
 
Attendance
  1. Students must attend regularly according to the student visa rules.
  2. In case of poor attendance (10 missed classes or lower than 80% of attendance) the College reserves the right to inform the Home Office.
  3. All absences must have a valid excuse. It is student´s responsibility to inform the college of all illnesses and holidays.
 
Accommodation

The college does not arrange accommodation for students. However, we can put students in touch with one of two accommodation agencies which the college uses either:-

Brittania or Host International Ltd.

Both of the agencies are accredited by the British Council.
